What is Fear?

This can seen as a strong feeling caused by perceived danger or threat

Fear is emotional, it's effect is both physical and spiritual. 

A lot of people see fear as a natural thing, I am not here to argue that, everybody on earth get scared at some point in life. 

As bad as this may sound, fear has great negative impact on the life of it's victim.

As a Christian, I am sure you have come across or read a portion of the Bible that tells us that fear is not of God.


Satan as the Cause of Fear.

Satan knows that ordinarily, he cannot influence a man. This is what lead him to the introduction of fear in his life.

When fear is introduced into ones life, it penetrate the subconscious mind thereby causing the victim to see, feel or mentally perceive what physically may not exist.

When one is afraid, he is limited, he or she has this sense of insecurity, thereby giving satanic agents legal ground to attack them.


Fear of the Unknown.

This is one of the major problems of human on earth. We tend to be afraid of what might happen tomorrow. Fear of the unknown has made a lot of people stagnated in life, do you know why? They are scared of taking bold steps because they have this perceived fear of failure.

For a man to be able to grow above limitations, he must be able to overcome what I call the fear of the unknown. 

This fear of the unknown has stopped a lot of people from building their relationships, starting a new business, applying for scholarships etc.



The Bible in the book of 1Timothy 1v7 makes us to know that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but he rather gave us that of power and of sound mind.

A genuine Christian should not be one who lives in fear.


Fear as a Tool for Defeat

As I stated earlier, Satan makes use of this tool effectively to overcome believers. If he sees that you are probably going to overwhelm him, he introduces fear into your life.

This, when done to you affects you if not rooted in God.

This is why you need to know the ways to overcome this Satanic trick.


Fear Makes you Doubt God

Satan uses fear to make you doubt and limit God. Read the book of Exodus, during the return of the children of Israel to the promised land, fear made them to start doubting God, to the extent of wishing they had still remained in Egypt.



PROVEN WAYS TO OVERCOME FEAR


1. Acknowledge God as the Owner of your Life: 

Often times, Satan makes human feel this "Fear of Death" his main aim is to destabilize your life so he will have access to introduce death into your life. The effective way of overcoming this fear is to continuously rebuke such imaginations.


2. Be Positive Always: Positivity is a mindset game, likewise fear. To overcome fear, you have to develop a positive approach to your life. Instead of thinking much about failure, why not think about success, instead of thinking about death, why not think about abundance Christ has given unto the Church?

This will have a way of helping you overcome fear in your life.

If you're positive about life and the unexpected happens, it makes you see it as a mistake other than fate. Seeing it as a mistake will help you to correct it faster instead of dwelling in it. This is a mystery I've revealed to you.


3. Stop Engaging in Scary Contents Eg. TV Shows, Halloween etc: 

Satan takes advantage of some TV shows to send fear into human life. I was a victim of this until I decided not to engage in them again.


4. Believe in your Abilities

Knowing who you're and believing in yourself will help you eliminate fear from your life. Fear isn't meant to build you, it is rather meant to destroy you.


5. Pray and Praise Always:

These are the two spiritual weapons against fear, Satan knows this, that is the more reason he doesn't want you to know.

Whenever you're experiencing a scary situation in your life, the best thing to do that time is to start singing praises and pray.

I have engaged this weapon severally, and it works perfectly


Jeremiah 30v10 has reminded us of the promise of the father:

Therefore do not fear, O My servant Jacob, says the LORD, Nor be dismayed, O Israel;  For behold, I will save you from afar, And your seed from the land of their captivity.  Jacob shall return, have rest and be quiet, And no one shall make him afraid. For I am with you.
