Simple ways pastors, church workers can take care of themselves
Susan Akpomera

In an article, Healthy Living Consultant listed ways Church workers can take care of themselves. They are;

Delegation of Duties:

She wrote, "You can't pick up every call, you will break down. You can't attend to every problem. Learn to delegate sir/ma... You can't attend to every matter, every invitation... Know when to switch off your phone and sleep. Know when not to take invitations."

Take Rest:

Susan mentioned that "When you notice that headache that keeps knocking from exhaustion, take a quick nap and rest. NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS DRUGS, sometimes it's just tiredness that is unchecked and negligence. Know when to stay at home and sleep... Know when to take naps."

Drink Water:

"Drink water more than you take fruit juice. It is advisable after preaching a storm, don't jump on "Cold Chivita (fruit juice), or coke, or wine. Drink water first, at that level of exhaustion your blood sugar can be very high or low, water is the best equaliser," she mentioned.

Food To Eat After Fasting:

She added, "Also, after fasting, don't eat bread and tea first. Drink water, eat watermelon, pineapple ( if you don't have diabetes, because they are very high in sugar). Eat Cucumber, eat a red apple, drink orange and not orange juice(they are not the same)."
