Every organization has an individual that poke the hornet's nest of the authority to raise the dust of battle, such Individual exist in every aspect of life. Be it religion, politics, family or community.
Celestial Church has established an empire that has spread all over the continent and the movement is still increasing after 37 years of late Papa Oshoffa's demise. Members of Celestial Church, including the Oshoffa family can not phantom the manifestation of God in the Church, the love of God for Celestial Church is beyond the imagination of individualism or the influence of the Oshoffa’s family.
Like the RCCG, the Church had found the right root in the circle of Christianity in the world. The strength of Celestial Church, RCCG, Winners Chapel and the Orthodox churches control the table of command in the political atmosphere of our Country.
However, a son from both the family of late Papa Oshoffa & Pastor Adeboye's are rocking the ship of their father's ministry negatively. Both individuals have been releasing statements that have constantly caused disunity in the circle of authority in the ministry, instead of the unity required to develop their father's ministry.
These (2) men have taken advantage of their father's names to act otherwise, most especially on issues relating to their Church and the worshippers.
Recently, On the 3rd April 2022. Leke Adeboye one of the sons of Baba Adeboye who is also acting as his father's P.A called one of the Church Pastor “A GOAT” because the Pastor had another view different from the position of Daddy G.O concerning national issue.
This issue had generated a lot of reactions, while many Nigerians on social media had criticized some of the statements credited to Leke Adeboye. RCCG is known as a well-organized Church that responds to matters relating to its Pastors; immediately the authority of RCCG set up a (3) member committee to investigate the statement credited to Leke Adeboye; the committee found Leke Adeboye guilty of the offence, and ordered him to tender an apology to the Pastor and the general congregation of RCCG; which he did on the 7th of April 2022; this urgent response by the authority of RCCG explained the space of administrative system that we lack in Celestial Church because the (3) member committee don’t consider Baba Adeboye status by asking his son to apologize to the Church; while the Church quickly took the action because it will be difficult to defend Leke Adeboye for his uncontrollable attitude on social media.
Using a similarity theory of Leke Adeboye with Benjamin Oshoffa, who has caused and continue to cause uncountable blockades in term of human and administrative management of his brother, Rev EMF Oshoffa's administration through his attitude to matters that concern Celestial Church.
Benjamin Oshoffa is a public figure on social media among Celestian members, the individual has an uncultured attitude. He is not minding the fact that his presence on social media bears a symbol of an empire of over 70 years to protect.
There is a recent online video between two female members named Efunshayo Obatula (Olomoplenty) and Bukola Akinoso (Abukky show); the female member has been fighting over supremacy with various classified information about the Church been leaked on social media; Benjamin Oshoffa always attaches himself to this ugly drama; which he never think about the consequences of his action on the Oshoffa’s family or the structure that his father had built.
Benjamin Oshoffa is quick to release classified information to members about why his uncontrolled attitude needs to be corrected, he is quick to respond on social media platform that has created a parallel space for his brother to fill and the family of Oshoffa to correct. The dissolved BOT had once demanded that Benjamin Oshoffa should tender an apology for his constant negative stereotype attitude toward them.
Both the family of Oshoffa & Adeboye need to attend to the controversial behaviour of both individuals by educating them on the position that both of them represent.
Leke Adeboye & Benjamin Oshoffa must understand that the position of their family does not give them chance to reply to every post on social media, the Oshoffa family should know that Celestial Church is not respecting the man called Benjamin, but the attached name “OSHOFFA” is the major factor that presses the mute button on every Celestian member.
