News coming from Ogun State, Nigeria has it that two leaders of Celestial Church of Christ, have been kidnapped by bandits. The two leaders are a shepherd (pastor) and a Sunday School teacher.
According to the parish Facebook page, the incident took place on Monday, 13th June, at 11pm on Lagos/Abeokuta Express way. The kidnappers have demanded the sum of N50 Million as ransom.
The report posted on the Facebook page Sbjoshoffa Wasimi Abeokuta read:
"As exactly past 11pm last night (13th June 2022), some gunmen invaded the church premises at Celestial Church of Christ Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa Parish, Km 27 Lagos/Abeokuta expressway Wasinmi Abeokuta, Ogun state and abducted two persons (the Shepherd and the Sunday school teacher) away and since then they have being requesting for ransom(50million naira)..."
