If Jesus Christ could serve, you should also serve by Apostle Adeniyi Opebiyi

Service is an act, a man who truly desires greatness would understand that the way to the top is down.

Alistair Begg said: "Service in the Bible's term is not a preliminary or a pathway to greatness; service is greatness." Jesus in Mark 10:45 (NIV) said he came to serve if the son of God could become the son of man in the act of service and the bottom line is to save humanity; who is my to not to serve.

Jesus called the disciple into the service industry (Matt 4:19) when he told them he will make them fishers of men, however they wouldn't be fully inducted into serving men if they have not served Him "FOLLOW ME". Jesus through service was glorified i.e seated on the throne ( Heb 12:2). So I believe glorification or palace experience awaits anyone who adopts the same act.

When God called the Israelites from slavery to promise land, the only path to that exploit He gave was Service (Exo 8:20). Moses who was an agent and a major player in their libration was called by God to serve and Joshua who accomplished God's intention of taking the people to promise land was charged by God to also serve and also the people were asked to service (Joshua 1:1), however, he has been involved serving Moses.

What do you have to serve God and humanity with? Whatever is it, be it skills, talent, influence, money e.t.c believe me it is a deposit that hides your palace. Joseph served God with his body by not yielding to portifer's wife desire, also served men in the prison with his gift (interpretation of dreams) little wonder he ends up serving the nation in the palace.

It is my prayer that the grace to serve God and humanity genuinely will find expression in us and through us, in Jesus' name.
