Problem with church planting

Churches are being planted over the world, without concern for the spirituality of members.

While the expansion of the Church shows that the work of God's kingdom is expanding, there should be a great concern on how this is done, says Ayokanmi Emmanuel.

In an article titled the Church Planter, Ayokanmi opined that the reason God wanted churches to be planted is for the recovering of those whose souls have been lost to be reconciled back to him, but this has been defeated by lack of concern for the spirituality of those the Church was built for in the first place.

"Unfortunately many of you are only planting buildings without fulfilling the purpose in the heart of the father. You spent millions on building but pay less concern to those who worship in your building," he mentioned.

He worried that the planting of Churches has become a lucrative business as some of those planting Churches are concerned with what comes into their pockets, while claiming they are doing the work of God the father.

"Every neighborhood… is full of different church gatherings and the numbers are increasing everyday. Church planting is now one of the lucrative business… because the planter isn't concerned about the SPIRITUAL MATURITY of their members but after their own pockets… And if they asked you a question you will boldly say you're doing the work of the father that sent you. For how long do you think you will fool this Father?

It noted that fraudulent persons are becoming largely involved in planting Churches without anyone calling them to order.

He wrote, "Do you know, you're not expanding God's kingdom but causing blinded people to derail from God's path and destabilize their salvation.

"Dear church planter, we will not force you to retrace your steps neither are we going to force you to stop rubbishing the kingdom responsibility but I want to remind you that one day you will give account of your life."
