Venerable Joseph Ojulanfe Talon, Churches pray for Nigeria, Christians prayer for Nigeria

The Ogun State Evangelist, Venerable Joseph Ojulanfe Talon, has called for unity among Nigerian churches. He expressed this view during a press conference commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Ijaye Cathedral, which is the Archdiocese of the Church in Ogun State, as reported by The New Telegraph.

Talon emphasized that for Nigeria to experience peace, the churches in the country must unite. He pointed out that praying without mutual love and respect among denominations would render the prayers ineffective in addressing the myriad challenges confronting the nation.

"The church in Nigeria must first achieve unity for peace to prevail. Through unity, we can collectively triumph. We have faith and pray for our collective success. This church joins hands with other Nigerian churches in addressing our challenges, but our prayers must be in alignment with God's will. We must uphold righteousness in Nigeria."
