The Celestial Church of Christ has condemned the act of cultism and activities of secret societies by Christians.
This was revealed by Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa during his sermon at the Abuja Central Cathedral parish of the Church in Nigeria's capital city on Sunday.
In a statement released by Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala for the Church, Oshoffa was quoted to have condemned those Christians "who belong to cult and secret societies."
He further condemned fetish practice by members of the Church as it is not the practice in Christianity and gives the Church negative names.
The Reverend Emmanuel visited 3 parishes in Abuja in continuation of his pastoral visit to some states in Nigeria.
