Keeping relationships with those who practice different faith often leads to fear amongst majority of Christians, says Twitter influencer Afam Dulexo.
"I think one of the major problems of Nigerian Christians is FEAR. They fear anything and everything that looks different from what they practice, he tweeted.
In a thread he shared his relationship with a voodooist, who shared a flat with him and they respected each other's beliefs.
Tweeting further, he explained how close his relationship with his roommate was. "I once shared a flat with someone deeply into voodooism, we ate from the same plate and all.
"He will be doing his voodoo, I will be reading my Bible and saying my prayers. He is one of the kindest and respectful humans I know. Christians need to conquer fear. Infact, he was even scared of me as a Christian. Very scared.
Afam proceeded to assure Christians to avoid fear as instructed in Isaiah 41: 8-10, in which very 10 says, "fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you,I will uphold you with my victorious right hand." (RSV)
