Abuja, Nigeria - In a heartfelt address during a Sunday Service held in preparation for tomorrow's presidential inauguration, Senator Remi Tinubu, the wife of President Bola Tinubu, expressed her commitment to guiding her husband in steering Nigeria towards a path of prosperity.
As a Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Remi called for unity and appealed for support for her husband, emphasizing the importance of peace in a nation that had experienced significant division following the highly contentious presidential election held in February.
Drawing inspiration from Psalms 133 verses 1 to 3, Remi urged Nigerians to come together, stating, "Today we have heard in the Psalms 133 verses 1 to 3, except there is unity, blessings cannot flow down. This is the time for Nigerians to come together. For us to be renewed in our hope again."
With unwavering determination, Mrs. Tinubu asserted that the wealth of the nation doesn't interest them, as they recognized that the nation's resources belonged to all its citizens. Her primary focus was on ensuring that the right decisions were made for the betterment of Nigeria.
"The wealth of Nigeria is the collective wealth of all its people; it belongs to everyone. My family has been blessed by God, and we do not need Nigeria's wealth to survive. Rather, we aim to utilize it responsibly for the benefit of all. On this sacred platform, I make a solemn promise that, with your assistance and God's guidance, we will set this nation on the right path," Remi passionately declared.
Seeking the support of the Nigerians, Pastor Remi humbly requested prayers for her family's success, adding, "We need your prayers. As a silent worker, I am not one to make noise, but I listen and I hear... The spirit of God is in us, we would do the right thing by the grace of God. We need your prayers. We need the prayers of the Church, the need the mosque, we need everybody to pray to that one God. She prayed that there shall be peace in our borders. This land sha be prosperous and it will grow in leaps and bounds."
As Nigeria eagerly awaits the inauguration of its new president, the nation looks to Remi Tinubu's steadfast faith and determination to guide her husband in ensuring that the country is on a path of unity, peace, and prosperity.
